Gusau takes charge, gets rousing welcome at WAFU Zone B secretariat

President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau formally took charge of affairs at the Abdijan secretariat of WAFU Zone B on Monday, even as staffers of the secretariat gave him a very warm welcome.

The amiable football administrator had breezed into the Ivorian capital after watching the President Federation Cup final in Lagos on Saturday where Kwara United emerged champions.

Gusau has since pledged to raise the bar for West African football insisting that he would give it his best shot.
