Adeyemi Adedeji, the coach of Switzerland based club FC Gossau recently paid a solidarity visit to his neighbourhood club Badagry United FC.

He was on ground to watch the team’s training session at the football field of the Nigerian-French Language Village, Ajara, Badagry.

After the session, Adedeji donated balls and jerseys as well as some playing kits to the team.

Sporting Director, Danladi Musa said they were happy to receive the tactician.

“We are happy to receive coach Adeyemi Anthony Adedeji for making time out to visit us at our training session at the Nigerian -French Language Village, Ajara.
Badagry United FC is a community-ownership club headed by the Akran of Badagry. We know his antecedents and contribution to football development. Beyond that, he provided us with kits as well as entertained us. We appreciate Coach Adedeji for his gesture and also his tactical support by sharing his over 25 years experience with the players” he said.

Head coach Moruf Matanmi thanked the former FC Witikon coach for taking time out to visit the team and motivate the players who were excited to have him in their most.

“Like my Sporting Director said, we are very happy to meet a great man in this job who has played the game as a player and now a coach. With what we heard from his today, tactically and technically in fact, we really appreciate Coach Adedeji. That shows that those that have been part of the game assuming they are doing what Adedeji did today, Nigerian football would have gone far more than what we have now.
In fact he did a lot! Talk of the gifts, the words of encouragement and the tactical experience he shared and added to the team. It show that he really has a very good interest in the game.”

In the same vein, members of the Badagry All-Stars were also full of compliments as they showered kind words on the former Stationery Stores of Lagos player.
