Ondo YSFON Departs Akure for Ramat Cup in Nasarawa

The Ondo state chapter of YSFON has departed Akure for Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, to take part in the 40th edition of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Ramat International Cup holding between August 8 and 16, 2025.

A contingent of 25 players and 5 officials who converged on the Ondo State Sports Complex,Akure, the team camping venue were addressed by the state chairman of YSFON,Mr Abayomi Ogunlade before their departure to Niger State.

Mr Ogunlade said the team which is flying thr flag of ondo state will.surely do the state proud as it has done in the previous underaged Championships.in Kano and River states.

“Though the state is a debutante in the Ramat cup but our previous achievements in some underage championship in Nigeria will speak for us in Nasarawa ” Ogunlade speaks

This is the first time the championship will be hosted outside Kano, with Lafia stepping in as the new host city.
