EX LEAGUE STAR SAMANJA FOR BURIAL September 27
One time Captain of defunct NPA Seasiders of Warri and Eagle Cement of Port Harcourt, Richard Dickson Mordi A.K. A Samanja who died recently will be buried in his home town Igbodo, Delta State on Saturday, September, 27, 2025.
According to the burial programme released by his family, the final journey of the late former assistant coach of defunct Franger FC of Warri will begin with a Service of Song on Friday September, 26, 2025 at Junior Staff Quarters Asaba, the Delta State Capital while his body leaves Asaba Specialist Hospital on the 27th for his home town for a brief stop over at Mordi’s compound, Igbodo.
This will be followed by funeral service at 10 am and thereafter interment at his family’s compound .
The late Samanja aged 57 was a defender during his playing days and a backroom staff of late Coach Amodu Shaibu at Sharks of Port Harcourt
He is survived by wife, uncle, brothers, sisters and children
