Spires 5-Aside Tourney: Matchday3 Produce Fireworks, Interesting Results
The Teams have continued to shore up points in the Group stage fixtures of the ongoing Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament in Lagos.
After a colourful opening ceremony on Sunday at the Stables Sports Center in Surulere, hostilities resumes with matchday3 matches.
Samson scored both goals for Chekas United who played out a 2-2 draw against Orion and Leon football club. Seyi and Bologun were both on target for the side from Ikorodu.
In the other match Net Breakers shattered the net as they decimated Soccer Gems football club by four (4) goals to one (1) in a thrilling encounter. There was also plenty of fireworks in the final game of the day as Papa SA dominated Wasola FC in their 5-2 triumph.
Action resumes again on Wednesday for another round of group stage matches.
Sixteen teams across the five divisions in Lagos are competing for honors at this year’s championship.
The 2025 Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament which got on the way on Sunday October 26th, will come to a close with a grand finale on Saturday November 15th.
