It turned out to be a disappointing day on the pitch for Soccer Gems football club as they suffered a humiliating 7-2 defeat against Wasola FC in their Matchday 5 fixture of the ongoing Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament in Lagos.
The goals came rushing in as Taheeb and Jamba both bagged a Hat-trick, before Yisa completed a solo strike to make it seven for the Ikeja based side.
Chekas United were dominant as they secured a 5-1 victory against Evagrin football club. It was yet another one-sided encounter between Papa SA and Net Breakers FC as the latter eased to a 6-2 triumph in front of an ecstatic crowd.
It was however a drought encounter between Blood & Sand FC and Orion & Lion Football Club as both sides settled for a 1-1 draw.
The action continues today with matchday 6 round of games: Alaodus FC will file out against All Saints, Peckins FC will lock-horns against New Generation Football Club, Greater Tomorrow FA will be up against White Tigers FC, while Emaljus FC will square up against Young Strikers Football Club.
