Imo State Govt To Confer Justice of Peace On Ogwuegbu

Prince Chidi Johnken Ogwuegbu, ( Nwa Inyi) is among the eminent personalities of Imo State extraction that the State government has selected to be conferred with 2025 Justice of Peace, JP.
The event which holds on Friday 21st of November, 2025 at the State Ministry of Justice Secretariat is expected to be presided over by the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The State government says the conferment is in appreciation and recognitions of Ogwuegbu who’s a senior civil servant outstanding roles in instituting peace, and stability within and outside the State.
”The appellation is a rare privilege for those who have made immense sacrifices for instituting peace and stability in and outside Imo State”.
Ogwuegbu who’s also an embodiment of social justice expressed gratitude for the recognition while thanking Imo State government(IMSG) for identifying his age long commitments, labours of love and sacrifices towards ensuring the enthronement of an enduring and sustainable peace, fairness, equity and natural justice.
In appreciation of the conferment, Ogwuegbu who’s popularly known as Nwa Inyi said plans have equally been advanced to host his friends, family members and well-wishers the same day at Amaechi Hall of Rock View Hotels, Owerri.
Chief Fidel Onyeneke, (PhD) has been detailed to chairman the historic occasion, while Rt. Hon. Chike Olemegbe, the Speaker, Imo House of Assembly is the Special Guest of Honour.
Other guests of honour includes; Barr. Marcel Ogwuegbu, Sir Vitus Okeke, Eze Forster Okoli and Comrade Okey Okere.
The royal fathers train will be captained by HRH Eze Martin Keke, HRH Eze Kelechi Okeke and HRH Eze Barnabas Okpara.
Others include; HRM Eze Dr. George Ugorji and His Royalty, Eze Barr. Victor Ogbonna 11.
