Private School Games: Greensprings Lekki Emerge Overall Champion

The maiden edition of the Lagos State private school games U-13 category climaxed during the week with athletics event
The athletics event which took place at the main bowl of the national stadium surulere Lagos saw the students compete for honours in different track and field events
The tournament is a developmental programme put together by school mes limited to unearth talents from schools
The competition was decided in both the male and female category
The 10 schools in attendance are; Lagos preparatory school. Corona Agbara, Lekki ,Greensprings Anthony, Lekki ,Whitesands, Outlier College ,Lead Forte Gate and Rainbow College all displayed their talents under seasoned coaches
Organiser of the championship, Adeyemi Egbeoluwa said School Games Limited prides itself with discovery of talents through school sports where genuine athletes with real age reside
“The essence today is a platform to discover exceptional talent in private schools hence why we are having private school games 2025 .
“I wish to see more students participate in sports because sports is not about winning or losing ,it does more than that , it involves how to manage and deal with people because in a team ,they are different people from different backgrounds.
“Sports also help in managing our failures in life because in life, there are more failures than success .
Sports in life goes beyond just winning and losing and teaches proper life skills” He said .
