Player of the month: Imo SWAN partners with Heartland Queens

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN) Imo State Chapter , has entered into collaborative partnership with Heartland Queens FC to institute and nominate the female club player of the month for the ongoing 2025/2026 Nigeria Premiership Women’s League.

SWAN disclosed this in a press statement endorsed by Messrs Cosmos Chukwuemeka and Tunde Liadi the professional association’s Chairman and Secretary respectively.

The association pointed out that the initiative is as a result of the successful execution of a similar award by Imo SWAN last season with Heartland FC, which ran seamlessly throughout the entire campaign and further strengthened the bond between the media and the club.
