Former Labour Minister Chris Ngige Arrested In Abuja
Former Governor of Anambra State and the immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment Dr. Chris Ngige has been taken into custody in Abuja.
The operation occurred at his residence on Justice Mohammed Bello Road in Abuja
Security operatives picked him up, but no government agency has formally released given full details of his arrest
Initial online rumours claimed he had been kidnapped by unknown gunmen, but those have been refuted.
Ngige’s former media aide, Fred Chukwuelobe, confirmed that Ngige is in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and not kidnapped.

No official explanation has yet been provided by the EFCC or other security agencies regarding the specific reason for his arrest.
