Aforjama Makes Wrestling Commitment, As Big C Mania 2025 Championship Ends In Agulu

Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of Big C Real Estate and Properties, Amb. Joachim Aforjama has promised continuous support to the country’s professional wrestlers to enable them once more rule the mats man game globally.
He gave the assurance in his country home in
Ukunu Village, Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State during the maiden Big C Mania 2025 Wrestling Championship which he hosted.
According to Aforjama, who is the national patron of Nigeria Pro- Wrestling Federation, Nigeria boasts of talented wrestlers who can rule the world in the sports like late Power Mike Okpara did during his life time ; saying that he will always be there to support the game.
” I’m really impressed with the talents displayed by these wrestlers and they need our encouragement to enable them write the country’s name in gold in the sports and for me, I will always support their activities.
” When you look at their performance today, the fans were really thrilled, with people asking for more action and even those who prior to this time believed that the game is a gimmick at the end of the day realized that it’s real and I want to commend the gentlemen and ladies who showcased their talents for a wonderful performance”, he stated.
The real Estate business mogul, who used the occasion to extend his philanthropy to the elderly and less privileged members of his community which included free eye texts, distribution of food items like rice, beans and tubers of yam, explained that the gesture was to help people ease the burden of Christmas celebration.
” As you can see, this is what we do every year to alleviate the financial burdens of the less privileged in my immediate community and I take joy sharing things out to the people to enable them have a sense of belonging “, he noted.
Meanwhile, all the wrestlers were in top form and gave fans who trooped to the venue from all the nooks and crannies of Anaocha Local Government Area, something to cheer about with many of them calling for more action as the fights lasted.
In the first fight of the evening, Zion Lion, defeated Mighty Progress by a pinfall after 10 minutes of the 15 minutes allocated to the fight while African Women lightheavyweight contender, Stylish J showed her dominance over female wrestling by beating, Jena Swift by a pinfall.
The fight between De Executioner and Captain Dunga ended in favour of the former while African Light heavy weight title contender, Power Vic recorded a victory over Major Ariba in what could be described as the best bout of the day.
At the end of the entertaining championship likened to only actions seen at WWF, medals and certificates of participation were given to the wrestlers and officials.
The championship which was part of activities marking the end of year celebration of Amb. Joachim Aforjama was organized by Big C Real Estate and Properties and sanctioned by the Nigeria Pro- wrestling Federation.
There were a lot of side attractions including, motor bike displays, music, dance and other side attractions.
