Morocco beat hard fighting Nigeria 4-2 on penalties to book AFCON finals ticket

The good run of the Super Eagles at the ongoing AFCON 2025 finals came to a disappointing end in Rabat Wednesday night when they narrowly lost by 4-2 penalties to the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the second semi- finals of the tournament.
The match played at Prince Moulah Abdellah Stadium, Rabat ended goalless after 120 minutes , sending the game into penalty shootout where goalkeeper Yassue Bounou emerged the hero of his side by saving two penalties.

With this victory, the host nation will now face Teranga Lions of Senegal in the finals on Sunday
