Commissioner of Police Hassan Gwani’s Courtesy Call Excites NAFED President


President of the Nigeria Archery Federation, Alhaji Mohammed Baba Abdullahi has applauded the recent visit of the Chairman of the Nigeria Police Archery Association ( NPFAA), Commissioner of Police CP Hassan Saleh Gwani, representing the t North East Zone on the board of the Nigeria Archery Federation to his office and described the visit a great mark of resect.
CP Hassan Gwani paid a courtesy call on the President of the President of NAFED, Alhaji Mohammed Baba Abdullahi in his office at the Central Business District of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT ) Abuja on 14 January, 2026.
Confirming this to the other board members, the President said the visit was a normal routine by board members who due to genuine reasons, were not able to function effectively in Federation activities for a certain period of time and on return, report back to leadership of the Federation.
CP Hassan Saleh Gwani, has been the Chairman of the Nigeria Police Force Archery Association since he took over from the Assistant Inspector General of Police ( AIG ) Aishat Baju Abubakar, who was the immediate past Chairperson of the Nigeria Police Force Archery Association.
CP Hassan Saleh Gwani, a very active board member of the Nigeria Archery Federation is still the Police Archery Chairman till date since he took over in 2022.
On the other hand, AIG Aishat Baju Abubakar is currently a Patron of the Nigeria Archery Federation ( NAFED ) just like
CP Hassan Saleh Gwani.
It would be recalled that way back in 2022, AIG Aishat Baju Abubakar also paid a courtesy call on the NAFED President when she was promoted and returned from the Prestigious National Institute of the Policy and Strategic Studies Kuru, Jos where she bagged the membership of the National Institute (mni).
Meanwhile, the President of NAFED, Mohammed Baba Abdullahi, in welcoming CP Hassan Saleh Gwani back to active participation and services having been away for one year from Archery activities while at the at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, congratulated the CP for being a good ambassador of the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Archery Federation and wished him the very best.
Mohammed equally admonished CP Hassan Gwani to be NAFED’s good representative at every given opportunity and environment in future.
The President also used the opportunity provided to brief him on recent developments in the Federation so far in terms of performances, achievements ( both locally and internationally) as it were, as well as challenges. performamces,As a strong stakeholder who deserves ahe President also briefed him
