Chairman of National League Club Owners and Managers Association ( NALCOMA), Godwin Enakhena said the just concluded NNL/ NALCOMA Mid-Season Retreat was organized to enable club chairmen and the league managers take stock of the first stanza of the league and rub minds on how to.make the second stanza complaint free
NALCOMA in conjunction with NNL organized a retreat for club chairmen at the Remo Stars Stadium Auditorium on Tuesday, January 27.
Speaking on the sideline of the retreat, he stated that having completed the first stanza of the league, it became necessary for key stakeholders to come together, review the league and point out areas of improvement, especially the refereeing aspect of the league.
” We organized the retreat inorder to enable us review the first stanza of the league and point out areas that need improvement, especially as we prepare to begin the second stanza which kickoff on February 14, this year.
” We gathered here today to hear from the NNL leadership what they’ll be doing in the second stanza of the league that will guarantee a finale to remember for good. For your information, NALCOMA championed this retreat so that we can rub minds on how best to attract bigger and better sponsors for the league and I’m happy that we had fruitful discussions”, he stated
” The retreat also became necessary to enable us make inputs on how to have a successful season and pour out our grievances especially in the area of match officiating which we felt need improvement “, he stressed
Enakhena while expressing happiness at the fruitful discussions at the retreat, commended the NNL board led by Mr. George Aluo for the cordial relationship existing between his board and NALCOMA and their spirited efforts at sanitizing officiating in the league, just as he expressed gratitude with the President of Remo Stars Hon Kunle Soname for his support for the retreat.
