ISTDAL boss congratulates new Ohanaeze PG, Obiozor

President of Imo State Town Development Association in Lagos (ISTDAL) Chief Chris Ekeocha (Ugo di nma Ndigbo) has congratulated the newly elected President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Professor George Obiozor on his emergence as the new leader of apex global Igbo body.

Ekeocha in a statement made available to the media in Lagos noted the choice of the erudite professor was one that would see Ohanaeze wax stronger and meet the aspiration of Ndigbo.

“I congratulate Prof George Obiozor on his electoral victory. He is experienced enough to take Ohanaeze Ndigbo to greater heights. My appeal is for everybody to rally round him and give him the needed support to succeed. I want to assure him that ISTDAL would give him the needed support and pray that God Almighty will bestow him with the wisdom of Solomon to take the right decisions,” Ekeocha stated.

Ekeocha while wishing members of ISTDAL a happy new year prayed that 2021 would be a better year, especially for Igbo businessmen whose businesses were badly affected by Covid 19 in 2020.

“My prayers is that 2021 would be a better year for all of us and our country Nigeria. We pray for peace and a more conducive environment where we can all go out to pursue our daily activities as law abiding citizens.”
