Imo Primary Health workers thumbs up Ekenjoku

Overwhelmed by the level of transformations, and workers motivational incentives being instituted in Imo State Primary Health Centres since Ms. Kosilisochukwu Ekenjoku assumed office as the Executive Secretary of the State Primary Health Care Development Agency, the workers have applauded her dedication to duty as well as her friendly disposition to their welfare.
This pronouncement became visible with goose pimples during her recent ongoing sensitization and interactive visitations to some Primary Health Centres in Oru East and Oguta Local Government Areas.
Just like other council areas, she and some of her senior and top management staff had earlier visited, the workers troupe out en masse singing solidarity songs with visible gratitude on their faces.
They commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for restoring their Health Workers Salary Scale, (HWSS) through the intervention of the Executive Secretary as well as the payment of their outstanding salary arrears to most of them.
At Oru East council area, one of the Primary Health Centre workers, Mrs. Rosemary Osuji, a certified Nurse described Ekenjoku as an exceptional leader with compassion and indomitable courage of serving the State and humanity.
Osuji also expressed gratitude to Governor Uzodimma for his Shared Prosperity administrative mantra’s priority attention towards the provision of ultra modern health facilities as well as rendering effective and qualitative healthcare delivery system in the State and her populace.
She prayed for God’s abundant blessings to Imo State Government and enjoined Ekenjoku not to relent in her labour of love and patriotism in medical services.
The workers at the New Owerri Secretariat of the State Primary Health Care Development Agency are not left out in appreciating the Executive Secretary’s commitments to duty and details, as well as the workers welfare.
They equally gave her kudos for inculcating the culture of discipline among the workers, infrastructural renovations and most especially the transformations as well as environmental sanitation of the Secretariat and most of the Primary Health Centres in the State.
