NAWIS Hails 4th Governor Diri National Wrestling Classics, Commends Adeniyi For Welfare Packages

The National Association of Women in Sports (NAWIS), has lauded the organisation of the 4th Governor Douye Diri National Wrestling Classics in Yenagoa while commending the President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, for prioritising athletes’ welfare.

The representative of NAWIS in the board of Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Hon. Princess Adejoke Adebusoye PhD. gave the commendation while speaking to journalists on Saturday, the day 4 of the championship in Yenagoa.

Expressing her satisfaction with the organization and the hospital accorded to the various delegates

Also, the NWF board member extended her gratitude to the President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, for his attitude towards athletes’ welfare, describing it as a booster to the growth of the sport.

According to her, the gesture to cater to various contingents adequately will encourage massive participation in future editions.

Adejoke Adebusoye stated that the initiative aligns with the vision of the National Association of Women in Sports, which aims to promote, encourage, and support grassroots sports.
