Abuja Agog for November edition of NNL/PROSTAR INT’L/SPORTLIGHT Hub monthly award

All arrangements have been concluded for the November edition of the NNL/PROSTAR International/SPORTLIGHT Hub Monthly Award, an event designed to celebrate excellence and promote growth within the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The highly anticipated ceremony is scheduled to hold on Tuesday , 16 December 2025, at the Westpoint Hotel, Wuse Zone 7, behind the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) FCT Command, Abuja.
The award ceremony, which marks the first edition in the new NNL season, is expected to attract top dignitaries from Nigeria’s sports and football ecosystem.
Former Minister of Sports and current Presidential Aide, Sunday Dare, will be in attendance. Also expected are the Director General of the National Sports Commission, Bukola Olopade; the Director General of the National Institute for Sports, Comrade Philip Shaibu; President of the Nigeria Football Federation Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation Dr Mohammed Sanusi, veteran journalist and broadcaster, Mainasara Ilo; and former Super Eagles international, Daniel Amokachi, alongside several other distinguished guests.
Outstanding performances from players, coaches and match officials during the period under review will be rewarded at the event.
Crown FC of Ogbomosho forward, Michael Adegbite, emerged as the Highest Goal Scorer and will also be crowned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the month.
Abdulwahab Jibrin of the Katsina Referees Council will receive the award for Best Referee, while the Best Goalkeeper accolade goes to Majayogbe Muyiwa of Crown FC of Ogbomosho.
The Best Coach award will be presented to Najeeb Mabo of Doma FC of Doma.
The Best Goal award was won by Ogonyi Matthew Okpahe of Doma United FC, for his impressive strike in the Match Day 3 encounter between Doma United FC and ABS FC.
Mighty Jets of Jos were named the Best Behaved Team for their exemplary conduct during the period under review.
Organisers have assured stakeholders of a colourful and well-coordinated ceremony as the NNL/PROSTAR INT’L/SPORTLIGHT Hub Monthly Award continues to spotlight talent, professionalism and discipline in Nigeria’s second-tier football league.
