ADC is dead on arrival in Imo State, says Longers Anyanwu

Despite the political euphoria that followed last week’s declaration of Mr. Peter Obi, finally pitching his political tent with African Democratic Congress ( ADC) ahead of 2027 Presidential election , Hon. Longers Anyanwu says the political party is dead on arrival in Imo State.
Anyanwu who’s a chieftain of All Progressives Congress, (APC ) optimistically stated this on Friday when he hosted in his ancestral compound a well attended, political sensitization party of critical stakeholders of APC in his palatial but political conscious and populous Amuzi ward in Obowo local government area of Imo State.
According to the astute politician, popularly known as Ebubedike Obowo, ” I sympathize with ADC, Peter Obi’s new political party because they have arrived late, moreso dead on arrival. Our people have comfortably boarded the APC train and the political party is already on a safe and victorious cruise in Imo State and other South East States” he assured.
Anyanwu further expressed gratitude to members of APC in his ward for their steadfastness, large heart and open mind in accommodating all new members and honourably swallowing other opposition political parties into APC.
Similarly, the party leaders present reported that Obowo Local Government Area is 95% APC compliance even as Anyanwu expressed disappointment over lack of political foresight of few people from the council area, most especially those of them in Diaspora who still believe that they are in opposition with what he described as, “phantom opposition clubs called political parties”.
The high point of the high profiled political meeting was the declaration to run for Okigwe Senatorial Zone election, under the platform of APC in the next political dispensation by the Chief Host, Hon. Longers Anyanwu and his declaration received a resounding affirmative acceptance by all in attendance which includes APC ward executives, Councilor, LGA Exco’s, LGA Council Chairman, Princess Nkechi Anyanwu, Chief Mrs. Igwe (Ugosimba) and veteran politicians like Chief Longinus Imocha Anyanwu, Chief Mathew Okoo and host of other leaders.
