Adeboye hails Eagles’ win in Rwanda, predicts victory over Zimbabwe

Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has hailed the Super Eagles dominant display and victory against the Amavubi of Rwanda in the FIFA 2026 World Cup quafier.

Adeboye, was full of joy that the Eagles, were not only victorious but also dominated the game with total confidence from start to finish; saying that he’s confident the Eagles will fly over Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday.

Adeboye, who played a key role in making sure things were perfectly put in place for the Super Eagles victory, is grossly thrilled that the team did not disappoint

“I am totally elated about this very outstanding victory and performance by the Eagles. I want to sincerely convey my warmest congratulations to the team on their impressive victory against the Rwandan national team in Kigali” he said.

“This triumph is a testament to the team’s hard work, dedication, and perseverance. The Super Eagles’ outstanding performance has once again made our nation proud, showcasing the rich football talent and resilience that defines Nigerian sports, “he added.

“This victory has revived our chances of qualifying for the world Cup and I am optimistic we will further boost our chances with victory against Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday, by the Special Grace of God”, he added.

“I congratulate the entire team, coaching staff, and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for this remarkable achievement.
May this victory inspire and motivate our team to continue striving for excellence as they represent our great nation on the international stage, “he concluded.
