Shaibu assures that PDP’s stolen mandate in Etsako will be retrieved

Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu has assured the people of Etsako that the mandate they gave to PDP in last Saturday’s Assembly poll would be retrieved from APC.

Shaibu who spoke after a peaceful protest staged by PDP supporters in Jatu, Etsako West LGA of Edo State said APC literarily turned the election into a war and hijacked the whole process.

He wondered why the collation and announcement of result which was supposed to be done at the usual place…Azama Primary School in Jatu was done outside the place designated by INEC.

“I have appealed to our people to remain calm as we take the lawful route to retrieve the mandate they gave to the PDP candidate Dr Felix Iyamole who flew our party’s flag in Etsako 2 state constituency.”
