AFCON 2025 : Super Eagles Demolish Mozambique, Book Quarter- Final Ticket

Super Eagles Monday night, defeated Mozambique 4-0 to book a place in the quarter- finals of the ongoing 2025 AFCON.

In the game decided at the Moroccan city of Fez, the Eric Chelle’s tutored side, opened scoring in the 20th minute through Ademola Lookman, before Victor Osihmen added another one to make it 2-0 at the end of the first half

Another goal by the Galatasary striker two minutes after the restart and a fierce strike 15 minutes from time by Akor Adams, who provided two assists, ensured the three- time champions won the game 4-0, thereby mainting a clean sheet in the tournament.

Nigeria will now face Algeria or DR Congo in the quarter-finals on Saturday
