African Coaches Connect Honours Odogwu In Gwagwalada

The African Coaches Connect (ACC) has honoured its Nigeria Coordinator, Patrick Ngwaogu, popularly known as Odogwu, with a symbolic presentation of the official tee-shirt of the African Football Convention at the final of the Gwagwalada Football League.

The presentation was made on behalf of the President of African Coaches Connect, Sunju Abbey Eldred, who was represented at the event by an executive member of the International Mobilization and Membership Committee, Godwin Bamigboye.
Bamigboye commended Ngwaogu for his immense contributions to the growth and activities of the ACC, particularly in Nigeria.

He noted that the recognition was fittingly done at the final of the Gwagwalada Football League, where Ngwaogu served as Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

According to him, the league stands out as an impressive grassroots football initiative that aligns with the vision of the ACC in developing football from the base.

Bamigboye further explained that the official tee-shirt also serves as an invitation to Nigerian football stakeholders to participate in the African Football Convention scheduled to hold in Casablanca, Morocco, from December 23 to 28, 2025.
The convention is a sideline event organized by the ACC during the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

In his response, Patrick Ngwaogu expressed gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the football community at any level when called upon.

He stated that his journey through grassroots football has equipped him with valuable experience, which has propelled him to higher responsibilities, including his role as a key figure in the international organization, African Coaches Connect.
