Afrobasket Championship : D’Tigress set to maintain perfect run as they take on Mozambique today

D’Tigress of Nigeria will today try to maintain its record breaking winning streak as they take on Mozambique later today at the Afro basket women finals currently going on in Cote d’Ivoire.

The coach Wakama tutored side showed they are not ready to relinquish thier crown as they demolished Rwanda 92- 45 in thier first match with Victoria Macaulay recording 13 points and 5 Assists.
A win today will seal s place in the quarter-final for the Nigeria ladies who are the most successful team in the competition in recent time .

In other matches billed for today , Uganda will face Senegal from 1pm in Group C while Angola takes on host nation, Cote d’Ivoire in Group A from 6pm.
The last match of the day is between Mali and Cameroon in group B. The match will dunk off at 10pm.
A win for the Malians will guarantee a place in the last eight having won thier first game against South Sudan .A win for Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire will seal their places in the quarter-final .
The ivoriens are hoping on star player Laetetic Sahie who had 23 points in thier first game against Egypt .
They won that game 75-63 to the delight of thier vociferous fans .
