Kano SWAN gets new scribe, other officers

SWAN Kano State Chapter, a prominent and highly regarded body, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Ex-Officio, Secretary and Assistant Secretary following the recently held meeting of newly elected Executive Committee members.

As part of SWAN’s commitment to maintaining a dynamic and efficient administration, the selection process for the key positions of Secretary and Assistant Secretary has been conducted with careful consideration and thorough assessment of the candidates’ skills, qualifications, and suitability for the roles. Following an extensive review, SWAN Kano State Chapter is proud to announce the following appointments:

1. Muhammad Nur Tijjani  as Secretary brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. With a proven track record in journalism and sports industry Muhammad Nur Tijjani  is poised to drive enhanced organizational effectiveness, streamline administrative processes, and ensure the smooth functioning of the organization with their exemplary multitasking abilities and exceptional attention to detail.

2. Muzammil Dalhatu Yola as New Assistant Secretary  is a highly skilled individual who has displayed outstanding capabilities throughout his professional experience. In this role, Muzammil Dalhatu Yola  is set to support the Secretary, ensuring seamless coordination among various committees, managing important correspondence, and facilitating effective communication channels within the organization.

3. The appointment of Musbahu Bala Cediyar Yangurasa as Ex-Officio, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. Being a former Vice Chairman with a strong background in sports journalism and a demonstrated passion for promoting the integrity and growth of the industry, Musbahu Bala  is poised to make valuable contributions to our association.

As an Ex-Officio member,  Musbahu Bala Cediyar Yangurasa  will serve as a liaison between the Executive Committee and other key stakeholders within the sports community. His role will include providing valuable insights, guidance, and support in shaping the strategic direction of our organization.

The Sports Writers Association is committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of sports journalists. Through the collective efforts of our members and the guidance of our newly elected Executive Committee, we aim to elevate the standards of sports reporting, promote ethical journalism practices, and provide valuable resources and opportunities for professional growth

The newly appointed Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Ex-Officio are highly regarded within their respective fields, demonstrating the necessary qualities to contribute to the growth and success of the SWAN Kano State Chapter. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams make them the ideal choices to take the organization to new heights.

SWAN Kano’s recently elected Executive Committee firmly believes that these appointments will complement their vision and goals for the organization, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring efficient decision-making processes.
