AKMA luxury perfume collection debuts in Nigerian fragrance market
AKMA Group has introduced a series of captivating fragrances; Tripple Rose, Dive Aveda Perfume, Elemis, Revlon, Sunflowers, and Golden Touch Perfume. Each scent is crafted to embody sophistication and individual expression.
AKMA, which has been into travel and tours, property, and production management for the past two decades, has captivated the senses of fragrance enthusiasts with its unique and sophisticated offerings.
Speaking with newsmen during the product launch, the Admin Manager of AKMA Group, Shobowale Ojo Azeez, said, “We actually venture into perfume production because our organization is aspiring to tap into a lucrative market while diversifying its product range and potentially creating a new revenue stream.”
He added that AKMA already has a strong brand identity or customer base in other sectors, which are travel and property management. “However, we believe venturing into perfume production will allow us to leverage our existing brand recognition to attract consumers to the new product line.”
“According to research, consumers’ growing interest in self-care and luxury items is driving the global demand for perfumes and personal care products. Therefore, AKMA sees this as an opportunity to capitalize on this demand and meet consumer preferences for high-quality fragrances.”
“AKMA perfumes aren’t just known for nice smells alone; they’re like little adventures in a bottle. Each scent is designed to totally capture your senses and make you feel something special. When you wear one, it’s like stepping into a different world or time,” Shobowale noted.
Speaking also, Babatunde Saheed, a broadcaster and an influencer who just signed on as a brand ambassador for AKMA, said, “The perfumes smell so good, and I’’m going to try it out. AKMA is doing amazing work, and we are all proud of them.”
“I am very passionate about perfumes, and I also believe that regardless of what the economy is saying, people will always spend money on how they look and feel,” he said at the launch on Saturday in Ibadan.
