All set for Sam Okwaraji tournament for secondary schools

The Samuel Okwaraji Foundation and the family of late Samuel Okwaraji have concluded plans for the organization of Samuel Okwaraji Secondary Schools Football Championship, in honour and memory of the international midfielder who collapsed and died on the turf of the National Stadium, Lagos during a FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Angola on 12^th August 1989.

On a visit to the NFF Secretariat on Thursday, Secretary of the Foundation, Achonwa Chidozie, on behalf of the Chairman, Senator Osita Izunaso, presented the competition’s T-Shirt to NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau (MON).
