Ambode’s “thank you” game garners more corporate support

Organizers of the Gov Akinwumi Ambode “thank you” game have expressed happiness with the corporate support coming the way of the event billed for next month at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
Spokesman for The Match International, Waidi Akanni disclosed yesterday that support has continued to swell with the coming on board of Kobayashi bitters, Wakabet and Mizuno Sportswear.
Former Super Eagles handler, Samson Siasia who is the brand Ambassador of Mizuno Sportswear brokered the deals.
“Samson Siasia who is the brand Ambassador of Mizuno has brought the sportswear outfit on board alongside Kobayashi bitters. kobayashi has just hit the Nigerian market and we are pleased to see them being part of the event. We have also sealed a deal with Wakabet,” Akanni stated.
Akanni stressed that everything is being done to make the game tagged Africa X1 versus Naija Legends a huge success. The nation’s ex internationals are putting the event together as way of saying “thank you” to the out going Lagos State governor for being sports friendly.
Former world footballer of the year, Liberia President, George Weah has since confirmed he would be in Lagos for the event alongside Ivorian star, Didier Drogba.
