Anambra FA boss, Iloenyosi thumbs up Gusau over coaches’ program

Anambra FA boss, Chikelue Iloenyosi has commended NFF president, Ibrahim Gusau for taking steps to uplift Nigerian coaches.

Iloenyosi noted that for Nigerian football to grow, the coaches have a critical role to play.

“I m happy Gusau has identified one of the biggest challenges facing our football and has taken steps to address it with the programs he has outlined for the gaffers. We need to have coaches who are knowledgeable in the round leather game,” Iloenyosi said.

It would be noted that the NFF is Organising the first ever CAF Coaching Instructors course in Abuja.

CAF Elite Instructor and FIFA Technical Expert Abrham Mebratu from Ethiopia is taking charge of the different aspects of the training programme, which has 15 of Nigeria’s elite coaches participating.

Gusau had while declaring the Abuja course open assured that more are on the way.

“We hope to have more of these courses going forward,” Gusau said.
