Anglican priest, Ucheghara replaces Njoku on Imo Boundary Committee board

A priest of the Anglican Church, Rev (Dr.) Uchenna Uchehara has been named a board member of the Imo State Boundary Committee.

Rev. Uchehara had already been inaugurated alongside 14 other members of the Imo Boundary Committee.

He replaces former Commissioner for Environment in Imo State, Dr. Ikechukwu Njoku on the Committee.

Rev. Uchehara who hails from Eziobodo Community in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, is the President, Divine Succour Global Mission and State Chairman, G-27 Imo Grassroots Movement.

Chairman of the Committee who is the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, led all 15 board members, including Rev. Uchehara, for inauguration by Governor Hope Uzodimma on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
