Umuohiagu Unity Cup final deadlocked

Umuohiagu Unity Cup ( Imo Airport Town) in Ngor Okpala local Government Area of Imo state, South East Nigeria ended in a deadlock at the St Micheal’s Central School arena on Wednesday.

Umuorisha FC and Umuanyamele FC went into the game desperate for the cup which was won last year by Amauga Boys.

The keenly contested game was called off after Umuorisha scored a disputed goal.

The organizers in a bid to avoid any violence opted to stop the match with just few minutes to go.

One of the organizers who craved anonymity said a new date would be fixed for a possible replay.
