Ardova Handball League : Lagos Seasiders Coach optimistic of title

..Blames poor officiating for loss to Safety Shooters

As the ongoing Ardova Handball League enters Day 4 today, Friday, November 17, 2023, Coach of Lagos Seasiders, Yohana Daniel says that despite the team’s loss to Safety Shooters in Match Day 3, his side is still a strong contender for the title.
Seasiders Thursday at the Gymnastics Hall of National Institute For sports (NIS), Lagos lost by 22-25 to occupy the fourth position on the log and Daniel believes that his team lost the game due to poor officiating.
” My players gave their best in the game but unfortunately, poor officiating denied us victory.
” The loss to me is a temporary setback because we still have many games to play. Right now, we’ve won two matches and lost one but I can assure our fans that we’ll not disappoint as our main target is to be crowned champions at the end of hostilities.
Daniel who says his target is to emerge league champion at the end of hostilities expressed confidence that his boys are equal to the task and will not give anything to chance in their ramainning games.
Meanwhile, playmaker of Safety Shooters, Amos Sunday has attributed their victory over Seasiders to hard work and dedication.
” It was a very tactical game but am happy that our hard work did the magic for us and we’ll continue to improve on our game as the league progresses”, he assured.
In the other matches decided on Day 3 of the League, Tojemarine Academy recorded a 32-21 victory over Confluence Stars just as Correctional Boys defeated Benue Buffalos by 22-18.
In the female category, Imo Grasshoppers beat Benue Queens 27-21 with Defender Babes recording a 34-23 victory over Bendel Dynamics.
Also, Seasiders Babes and Rima Queens settled for 25-25 draw while it was also another draw as both Safety Babes and Plateau Peacocks ended their game 18-18.
