No stadium was abandoned -Monimichelle boss

By George Aluo
Chief executive officer of Monimichelle Group has dismissed as lies from the pit of hell a media report that said he abandoned a FIFA project after collecting N600m.
Egbe while dismissing the report as fake news said the only fifa project being handled by his outfit at Ugborodo community deep in the Atlantics in Delta state is up and running.
Hear Egbe…
“Work is going on at the site as we speak and my organization has committed more money into the project than we got. The project is in a difficult terrain but we will deliver it in spite of the environmental challenge. The serene environment of Ugborodo will enjoy the arena when completed. The riverine communities of Delta have produced a player like Akeyi and taking such a project there is laudable. And Monimichelle will deliver it as funds are made available by FIFA through the NFF. It is on record that Monimichelle has never abandoned any project.”
A statement released recently by NFF scribe confirms Egbe’s stand on the project.
In Dr Sanusi’s words…Ugborodo had envisaged problems…communities, etc. Just four days ago we raised the issue of Ugborodo with FIFA including the difficulty of assessing the land, the nature of the land, the inflation due to the economic realities the world is facing.“
