NPFL Super 6: Odegbami, Okoku, Omotayo hail IMC

It has been praise galore for the nation’s league body IMC after yesterday’s season ending Super 6 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

Ex international, Segun Odegbami who was part of the dignitaries in the final stated…”Wow, I am at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, former Onikan Stadium, Lagos. I am glad I decided to honour the invitation of Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, to be a part of the final day of the Super 6 NPFL Championship playoffs. Everybody is here. It is an electrifying atmosphere, a great re-unification of football stakeholders through the ages. Football is coming back o.”

Another ex international Paul Okoku on his part said it is quite encouraging to see fans troupe out in their large numbers to watch the domestic league games.

In his words…”Quite encouraging to see that the fans came out in numbers to watch the game. Hoping this is the beginning of a great viewership for the league years to come and for the foreseeable future. Kudos to Hon. Elegbeleye for being a leader with compassion. He is an amazing sports administrator and I like his leadership style of diversity and inclusion.”

Chairman Board of Trustees(BoT), Sports Psychology Association of Nigeria (SPAN) also gave a pat on the back to IMC for the well organized Super 6.

“I personally congratulate Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye a  2022 ASMA GOLD AWARD winner on this reawakening of the Nigeria Football League system. The adherence to global best practices in the management of the entire League is highly commendable. I admonish the IMC not to yield gained grounds,”Professor Omotayo stated.
