NNL talks tough on broadcast of matches

The board of the Nigeria National League. (NNL) has warned that any club that blocks the live streaming of her match would pay a fine of N.5m.

This much was disclosed today by NNL’s image maker, Amar Ignis in a statement made available to newstap.com.ng.

The statement read in part…“The penalty for any club refusing or stopping the process of Broadcasting (live streaming) of matches home or away is N500,000.”

Meanwhile, friday 30th of April has been fixed as date for the resumption of matches for the season. Matches would also be played on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of May in the abridged divisions of the northern and southern conferences.

The NNL stressed that the new date was arrived at to enable the the disciplinary committee of NFF which met midweek attend to pending cases which have now been trashed out.
