Bauchi FA Chairman Patrick Pascal Hails Wikki Tourists and Waringe FC on Historic Promotions

Chairman of the Bauchi State Football Association, Patrick Pascal, MON, has extended his warm congratulations to Wikki Tourists Football Club on their successful promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and to Waringe FC of Bauchi for earning promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

In a statement issued on Friday, Pascal described the dual promotions as monumental achievements for football in Bauchi State, attributing the success to the hard work, resilience, and dedication of the players, coaching staff, and club management.

“These remarkable achievements are a testament to the hard work, resilience, and unwavering determination of the players, coaching crew, and management of both clubs,” Pascal said. “They have made the people of Bauchi proud by restoring our pride of place in Nigerian football.”

Wikki Tourists sealed their return to the NPFL with a dominant 4-0 victory over Yobe Desert Stars at the NNL Super 8 Playoffs in Asaba, while Waringe FC secured a historic promotion to the NNL, further highlighting the growth of football in the state.

Pascal also expressed appreciation to the Governor of Bauchi State for his continued support toward sports development, particularly football, and praised the contributions of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Adamu Babayo Gabarin.
