Benue Buffaloes earn important win on Day 3 of Ardova Handball Premier League 2024 Phase 2

Benue Buffaloes went up to seventh position in the men category league log following their impressive victory over Adamawa Warriors on Day 3 of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2024 phase 2 in Lagos.

The Buffaloes from Markudi who were hitherto in 8th position before their match on Friday, defeated Adamawa Warriors 44-36 in an exciting fixture in the men category while Seasider Boys of Lagos earned a vital 24-21 victory over Sunshine Kings of Akure.

Safety Shooters, champion in 2021, defeated Corrections Boys 34-23 while defending champion defeated former champion Kano Pillars 31-23.

League leaders Tojemarine HC defeated De Defenders 31-23 despite largely struggling in the match.

In the women’s category, Imo Grasshoppers, who before the phase 2 was in third position, are now in fifth position following their third straight loss in this phase with a 43-24 against defending champion Safety Shooters while Defender Babes earned a 35-34 win over COAS Shooters.

Rima Queens are in third position following their 31-26 victory over Delta Queens while Seasider Babes and Rivers Queens played out a 26-26 draw.

Former champion grind out an 18-17 win over Bendel Dynamos.
