Best Talent Hunt Scouting Programme Begins today in Ogun State

Agroterra Resort and Sports Academy, Joga Orile , Yewa Ogun State will today and Wednesday, February, 18 and Thursday 19th February, 2026 witness top European scouts in search of talents discovery in Nigeria as Best Talent Football Club organizes a mega Scouting programme.
It would be recalled that a similar programme was held at the University of Ibadan Sports Complex few years ago by Best Talent FC in conjunction with Shino Sports Management where good number of players were spotted , nurtured and transported to Europe in badges for career prospects.
This programme, according to the Chairman of the high flying club, Adeyinka Adeyemo, club representatives from Germany are in Nigeria to monitor the 2-day sporting activities which starts today
“The scouts are in Nigeria to monitor the scouting program tagged Best Talent Hunt and will start on Wednesday 18th and run to Thursday, 19th of February, 2026 at Agroterra Resort and Sports Academy , Joga Orile, Yewa, Ogun State.
“A FIFA’s licensed agent, a Nigerian, by name, Adewunmi Gbenga based in Germany will lead other top scouts at the programme. ”
“Five teams have been carefully invited to participate in the Scouting Tournament, and the participating teams are:
Best Talent Football Club,
Adamimogo fc, Elegant football Academy, Lasegski fc and Yewa football Academy.
The fixtures shows that Best Talent FC will lock horns with Lasegski FC while Adamimogo will battle it out against Yewa FC by 11am.The last match will be between Best Talent FC 2 and Elegant FA.
On Thursday, 19th February, 2026, it’s going to be a clash of the titans between Best Talent FC and Adamimogo FC while Lasegski and Elegant FA will engage each others.Yewa FC and Best Talent 1 will crown it up.
The coordinator of the programme, Sikiru Ibrahim, said that the invited clubs are mostly youth teams in Nigeria who play competitive football, as well as third-division clubs.
In his words: “The invited clubs are clubs within the network of the Best Talent football club and have enjoyed cordial relationships over the years.
“They are primarily third-division clubs as well as standard youth teams across the country with evidence of competitive football.”
Engaging sporting media on why they are organizing the scouting Program , the General Manager of Best Talent Football Club of Mowe said that the programme is organized to give realistic opportunities to talented players in Nigeria for future prospects.
“We have organized similar programmes in Ibadan, few years ago , also, we had similar programme here in Ogun state and the overwhelming results propelled us to do more. This event is organized to give realistic opportunities to talented and budding players and their teams alike to launch their transitioning to Europe.”
“Also, the benefit for clubs is an opportunity to showcase their talents to top European teams in attendance, and for the players, it’s an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents with the hope of getting scouted to play in Europe”, he concluded.
