Initiated by Scrabble Las Vegas in 2022, the unique annual contest has produced high valued entertainment as players plot through the challenges of getting past their rivals in the 3-day tourney filled with intense battle on the boards.
The six ‘Legacy Keepers’ including the duo of Khaleel Adedeji and Whiskey Godsfavour who recently returned from participating at the World Scrabble Championships in Ghana will clash against Daystar Atti, Salu Samson, Joseph Okere and Bayo Ahmed with a King of the Jungle expected to be crowned on the last day in Lagos.

It’s going to be very intense and tight and enthusiasts can tap into the live actions, adopt preferred players in the camp through subscription on our dedicated WhatsApp channels and of course, place some stakes on who they think would win.”
“In our tradition, food, drinks and other provisions including medicals will be available for all contestants for the whole three days of their stay in the jungle. So they don’t have to come in with anything. This will help in increasing their level of concentration while they give their best over 36 round of games and 6 King Of The Hill games.” .
He however, called for collaboration, support and partnership from individuals and corporate firms as they seek to deliver a robust tournament.
It would be recalled that 2015 World Champion Wellington Jighere won the inaugural edition ‘Word Spillers’ in Delta state in 2022 while the Gen-Z Edition produced Musa Lateef as the King the following year.
Last year Oghenetega Okiemute emerged as the ‘HardCore Edition’ warrior.
