Nnewi Utd players celebrate Coach Ewulu’s birthday with goals

A Five star performance! That was what players of Nnewi United put up to celebrate their coach, Fancy Ewulu on his birthday midweek.

Playing what is no doubt their best game of the season, the players put five un replied goals past Lagos side Otasolo FC at the Rojenny Stadium, Oba winning by 5-0.

The victory has taken Nnewi United to second on the NNL log as the Anedo Boys hit Lagos this weekend to face Sporting at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

Ewulu who was on cloud nine after the victory over Otasolo was carried shoulder high by his boys even as they sang and wished him happy birthday to the admiration of fans.

The coach told Newstap.com.ng that he is grateful to the players for their dedication and hard work. He also gave a pat on the back to the club’s management for their support.

“I want to say a big thank you to the players for making me proud and happy on my birthday. I thank them for their hard work and the management for their support. Our target is to do well this season and play ourselves to the elite class,” Ewulu said.
