CAF conclude draws for Confed Cup knockout stages

..As Rivers Utd get date with defending champion, USM Algiers

The draw for the CAF Confederation Cup knockout stages has been done in Cairo, Egypt.

Nigeria’s representative Rivers United will take on defending champions USM Algiers of Algeria in the first leg quarter-finals game in Port Harcourt on the 31st March.

The return leg takes place a week later in Algiers on the 7th of April.

There is an all Egyptian quarter- finals matchup between Modern Future Football Club and Zamalek Sporting Club.

This is the complete draw for the quarter and semi-finals:

Modern Future – Egypt
Zamalek – Egypt

Abu Salim – Libya
Renaissance Berkane – Morocco

Rivers Utd – Nigeria
USM Algiers – Algeria, holders

Stade Malien – Mali
Dreams FC – Ghana

First legs: March 31, second legs: April 7.


Rivers or USM v Salim or Berkane

Future or Zamalek v Malien or Dreams FC

First legs: April 21, second legs: April 28
