CAF WC2026! Playoffs: Ekong Arrives, Swells Eagles’ Morocco Camp To 8
... Full Camp Expected On Monday


Captain William Troost-Ekong on Sunday evening arrived the Super Eagles camp for the CAF 2026 FIFA World Cup Playoffs.
His arrival increased the number of players in the camp based in Morocco to eight with Benjamin Fredericks and Chidozie Awaziem expected to join those already in camp.

Alex Iwobi and forward Samuel Chukwueze as well as Wolverhampton FC striker, Tolu Arokodare, Russia based Olakunle Olusegun, Besiktas Vice captain Wilfred Ndidi and Moses Simon complete the list of early callers.
16 others are expected to hit the camp ahead of their November 13 clash against Gabon who they will face in one of the semi-finals of the playoffs.
The winner will meet the victors between Cameroon and Burkina Faso on November 16 for CAF sole ticket to the FIFA Intercontinental playoffs in March next year when five other teams will battle for two slots to the expanded 48- team World Cup in North America.
