Cameroonian Commodore Ndo, the best man for Pro- Wrestling Africa President
Leaders are born and not made and one of the attributes that qualifies a person to be a good leader is his relationship with people, his management acumen, handling of human capital and resources as well as being a good thinker
A leader must also have a listening ear, be able to proffer solutions to issues and be a motivator to those he’s leading.
These attributes fit well with Commodore Emmanuel Ndo, a Cameroonian who is gunning for the Presidency of Pro- Wrestling Africa.
With the Annual General Meeting and election of this august body charged with the development of wrestling in all the nooks and crannies of Africa slated for Nigeria in April this year, the body needs an experienced and robost leader who can steer the ship and bring back the glory of the mats man game in the continent.
Although there are other contenders to the throne, but Commodore Ndo, a one Star General with the Cameroonian Air force who also doubles as that President of Cameroon Pro-Wrestling Federation (FECACATCH) as well as First Vice President of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), stands some feet above others eyeing the exalted position.
It’s on record that since assuming the Presidency of the Cameroon Wrestling Federation (FECACATCH), Commodore Emmanuel Ndo has officially organized many championships in that Central African country.
A brief look at his achievements indicates that in April, 21,2021, he organized in
Yaoundé, Cameroon, African Heavyweight Championship bout which was won by Cameroonian Noudem Michel against Nigerian Power Lee.
He followed it up with a Texas, USA World Heavyweight Championship bout, AAPW version, organized and won by Cameroonian Alain Noudem, also known as The Wolf, against American Atomic Dorry.
On June 17, 2023 under his watch in Yaoundé, Cameroon, there was the very first African Super Heavyweight Championship won by Cameroonian Pinah Humphrey, also known as Buffalo, against Nigerian Okolo Happy Egu (Mighty Man)
In July 22, 2023 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, he organized a World Heavyweight Championship bout, AIWF version, won by Cameroonian Alain Tazo, also known as Animal, against American Jimmy Dobson.
As if this was not enough in May 25, 2024 there was the first leg of Orlando, USA World Super Heavyweight Championship bout which was won by Cameroonian Pinah Humphrey, also known as Buffalo, against American Moz Destroyer.
After this, he took his wrestling gospel to Lagos, Nigeria on June, 16, 2024 for the very first African middle Heavyweight women Championship bout, organized and won by Cameroonian Pone Vadex against Liberian Swift Jenna.
Also on May 24, 2025 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, there was an African Light Heavyweight Championship bout, AIWF version, organized and won by Cameroonian Talla Cédric, also known as Kirikou, against Ghanaian ‘’De Miser” Okpara Samson and on the same day in Yaoundé, Cameroon, there was a World Heavyweight Championship bout, organized and won by Cameroonian Alain Noudem, also known as The Wolf, against French wrestler Heddi Karaoui the French Machine.
Not done with this, the experienced Air force senior officer with many local and international awards to his credit, on August 20, 2025 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, organized a return fight for the World Super Heavyweight Championship, won by Cameroonian Nzounkeu Baudouin, also known as El Kas, against American Tony Destroyer from America.
It’s on record that from 2020 to 2025, under just five years, FECACATCH organized and won nine international competitions, including four African titles and five World titles, placing Cameroon at the top of performance rankings across the African continent.
For the year 2026, FECACATCH, under the leadership of its President Emmanuel NDO, has already planned to organize a championship in collaboration with the Pro Wrestling Africa the African umbrella body in Lagos, Nigeria, on Sunday 3rd May 2026 at the NIS Gymnasium Hall, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria featuring three international bouts involving wrestlers from Cameroon, Benin Republic, Togo, Nigeria, and Liberia.
From his intimidating record, there’s no denying the fact that since the birth of professional wrestling in Africa, no national Federation President has ever achieved such a historic and outstanding record probably because other nations don’t access such funds from their national government.
However, it must be noted that this remarkable and visionary journey has been made possible under the coordination of the brilliant Secretary General of the African Wrestling Confederation Amb. Olukoya Olusesan.
With this intimidating profile, there’s no other person the cap of the Presidency of PWA fits than Commodore Ndo and it’s expected that when delegates cast their votes in two months time, they will vote according to their conscience for this visionary leader for the game to further move forward in the continent and even beyond.
