Campos FC lifts up Owerri sports club with million smiles

Last Saturday was a turning point in the life of Owerri Sports Club as Mazi Ikechukwu Osuji, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Campos Football Club and Academy uplifted the Club fortune with a million Naira.
Osuji who made the donation amidst thunderous applause and ovation that heralded his induction into the prestigious but elites club and as part of his commitment towards the advancement of the club.
The youthful football administrator made the donation during the Club’s historical but well attended inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as the President of the Club, investiture of Nze George Onwuanibe, KSM as Grand Patron and induction of new members in which he was one of the prime inductees.
Campos as he is popularly called expressed fulfilled as a member of the reverred club, noting that Hon. Emeka Umeaku introduced him into the club for about four years ago, insisting of his patriotic desire to uplift the club in terms of human capacity and infrastructural developments.
The President and CEO of Campos Football Club and Academy reiterated that the club is doing tremendously very well, noting that the club which was established in 1998 with lots of challenges and with the aim of harnessing budding talents have today become a household name as both local, national and international football clubs and licenced player agents are sorting for his players.
Osuji who thanked God for His immense grace upon his life, informed that one of his players last Saturday played Laliga premier league with Cartenga FC of Spain and was outstanding throughout the game.
