Charity work: Everyday Group throws weight behind OPM

In the spirit supporting benevolence service towards humanity, Everyday Group of companies has donated gift items worth millions of naira to the faith based outfit Omega Power Ministry (OPM).

The CEO of the Port Harcourt based company, Dr Charles Dimnwaobi who led members of his staff over the weekend to the residence of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the General Overseer of OPM to present the items said the gesture was to support the good works and continuous efforts of the ministry towards impacting lives and wiping tears from the eyes of underprivileged persons.

The items donated includes 10,000 nose masks, 100 trolley boxes for the OPM scholarship beneficiaries, 50 winter Jackets for the beneficiaries of the scholarship abroad as it is on record that 28 students are currently in Turkey while over 70 students are also preparing to join them. Other items include 1000 Adults clothes for less privileged persons living in the over 14 OPM free hostels, 539 Children’s clothes for underprivileged children and the 92 children currently living with Apostle Chibuzor and 1000 Children’s shoes and 1000 Adult shoes.

Dr. Charles in his remark while presenting the items commended Apostle Chibuzor for his good works towards impacting lives and wiping tears from the eyes of underprivileged persons, stressing that he had been watching the man of God for quite some times before coming to the conclusion that he is exceptional.

He continued by commending Apostle Chibuzor for transforming the image of Pentecostalism in Nigeria with his vast act of benevolent while praying God to inspire him to touch more lives just like he inspired Apostle Chibuzor.

“I’m not a member of the OPM family but a Christian, what takes us to heaven is our works, the seed we are able to sow and nurture so that the society will be better. He has changed the way Christianity is supposed to be, this is the kind of Christianity I want to belong to, and this is the kind of doctrine I want to believe,” Dr. Charles noted.

Meanwhile the General Overseer of OPM has taken the female clothings and shoes to the OPM free estates where the rehabilitated former sex workers, girls retrieved from busted baby factories, girls from underprivileged homes and rape victims are residing and distributed the items to them.
