Chief of Naval Staff/ NOWA football tournaments hold April 6
Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria ( YSFON ) has announced that the 20th edition of the Chief of Naval Staff U-14 boys and the 12th edition of Naval Officers Wives Association U-17 girls football competitions will hold from April 6-13, 2024 in Enugu, the Enugu State Capital.
According to a statement from the Federation signed by it’s National Secretary, Patrick Okpavuerhe, teams that want to participate in the glamorous competition will present 20 players whose ages must be strictly 14 years for boys and 17 years for girls as at 30th April, 2024.
It also advised participating teams to ensure they arrive Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Saturday, April 6 before 6pm accompanied by three officials; one of whom must be a YSFON official noting that the teams upon arrival shall be received by YSFON officials are the stadium.
The statement reminded teams that the body size of the boys is 51 kg with a maximum height of 158m while that of girls is 60kg and 1.78m body size.
Teams are also to confirm their participation on or before Thursday, 28th, March to enable the Federation make adequate arrangement for their accommodation and accreditation cards.
The Federation finally reminded teams that accommodation shall be in school hostels while all the participating teams shall feed and transport themselves to and from venue of the tournament.
