Dare inspects 80-bed hospital at Pakiotan

The Honourable minister of youth and sports development, Chief Sunday Akinlabi  Dare visited  the 80-bed hospital in pakiotan area of Ogbomoso a day after  his coronation by Soun Of Ogbomoso Land, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade 111 as AGBAAKIN of Ogbomoso land.

The Honourable Minister paid a working visit to Pakiotan Specialist Hospital Project that is being facilitated by himself, One of the Sustainable Growth Projects initiated by the Federal  Government of Nigeria. It is recalled that the project started just late last year but the 80-bed hospital project is looking set for commissioning and to serve the public.
Apparently, tackling neonatal, infant and maternal deaths in Nigeria have been a major commitment of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration as evident in the numerous infrastructural interventions  across the country and this project, when completed, will be fully equipped by government for its full utilisation by the Ogbomoso people and environs.
 According to the minister “I am pleased to see that the project we started  late last year is at the stage of completion, this will improved healthcare infrastructure and this will provide employment opportunity for the people of Oyo state at large..”
Cheif Sunday Dare said: “I want to thank President Muhammed Buhari and the office of the SSA to the President on SDGs Mrs Orelope-Adefulire for approving this project for the Ogbomoso people. I thank the President for approving the project and giving me the opportunity to facilitate this project for Ogbomoso. Health is wealth and this 80-bed hospital will no doubt enhance the health delivery system of Ogbomoso.We look forward to more relevant projects to be so cited in Ogbomoso town”.
The new chief in town thanked the All Progressives Congress government led by President Buhari for the project and expressed happiness that the people of Ogbomoso will make good use of the much needed health facility when completed.
