Dass Hotliners emerge champions of Bauchi FA/Noah Dallaji legacy youth competition
Dass Hotliners of Bauchi have been crowned champions of the 2024/2025 Bauchi State FA/Noah Dallaji Youth Competition. The team defeated Wurno FC 3-0 in the final match played in Wurno, Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi state.
The competition, which featured teams from all Local Government Areas in Bauchi state, saw Dass Hotliners emerge victorious after a thrilling match. The first goal was scored in the first half, with the remaining two goals coming in the second half.
In a novelty match played earlier, Wunti FC of Bauchi won the trophy by defeating Wikki Tourists Feeders 5-4 on penalty kicks after a goalless draw at full time. Six teams from Bauchi and its environs participated in the novelty which has been on for years.
Bauchi state FA Chairman, Patrick Pascal, expressed his gratitude to Noah Dallaji, the organizer of the competition, for his support in discovering new talents at the grassroots level in the state.
The final match was attended by notable dignitaries, including former Super Eagles players Garba Lawal and Taribo West.
