YSFON  mourn passing away of Organizing Secretary, Usman

The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria ( YSFON) has expressed shock over the sudden death of it’s organising secretary,  Malam,Abdulrazak Usman.
 
Usman, passed away in the early hours of Monday in his home in Kaduna and  has  since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Until his death, he was the National Coordinator of Kanu International Football Academy (KIFA), as well as, the  National Organising Secretary of YSFON. 
He was also a member of Kaduna State Athletics Association and a member of several national football organisations. 

In a press statement issued by  the National President  the Federation Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and the National Secretary, Patrick Okpavuerhe, they described his death as a rude shock noting that his services will be greatly missed by the body.

” His death came to us as a big shock. During his life time, he was one of those that made sure our activities goes on unhindered. He was a firm believer in the development of grassroots sports and dedicated all his life time to  it . He will be greatly missed not only by YSFON but by the entire Nigerian football community.

The statement while condoling with his family, prayed that God should grant his soul eternal rest.

“We condole with his immediate family and friends and pray that God grant him eternal rest and repose his soul. 
” We also pray that God will give the entire Nigerian football family the strength to bear this huge loss”, concludes the statement.

Meanwhile all the state chapters of YSFON have expressed rude shock over the death of the experienced and astute sports administrator.
In a statement they jointly issued, they lamented that his death has created a big vacuum in the body which will be very difficult to fill.
” We’re highly saddened by his death which has created a big vacuum in the body and his absence will be highly missed. However, we take solace with the fact that he lived a good life and will be forever remembered.
They prayed that God will grant his soul eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
