Delta State Sports Commission announces key appointments for Warri Wolves and Delta Queens.
The Delta State Sports Commission has made significant changes to the leadership of Warri Wolves FC and Delta Queens, appointing new personnel to key positions.
In an official statement signed by the Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Franka Okonma, it was confirmed that Nevel Abkadremiro has been reappointed as the Chairman of Warri Wolves FC.
The club’s Secretary, Chukwuma Ukah, will continue in his role. Former Enyimba of Aba assistant coach while Napoleon Aluma, has been named the new head coach of the “Seasiders,” tasked with leading the team in their upcoming campaigns.
For Delta Queens, Mercy Awhana has been appointed General Manager of the female State team, while Joy Oyibo will serve as Secretary with Peter Dedevbo, a seasoned coach, as the new head coach of Delta Queens.
The appointments are to take effect immediately, with all appointees expected to assume their respective duties without delay.
The changes are part of the Commission’s efforts to strengthen the management and performance of its football teams ahead of the new season.
